Vivian Cearbaugh started Crossroads Flowers in the family home. She started by making bouquets and corsages for her friends and for members of her church. This was over 40 years ago. The shop has grown a lot since then. We still operate out of what was the Cearbaugh Family Home. I don't think Vivian knew how much it would grow over the years.

The shop is now in its 3rd generation. Vivian's daughter, Malinda Cearbaugh-Bennett, has worked in the shop for most of her life. She is a very talented designer as well as a great business woman. Malinda has 3 daughters all of which have worked at the shop. Her middle daughter, Stephanie Bennett-Bass, continues to work with her Mom in the store. Stephanie is also a very talented designer and has recently passed her AIFD (American Institute of Floral Design) evaluation in St. Louis. She will be inducted into AIFD, July 2004, in New York, NY. We are all so proud of her accomplishment.

Even though we have grown, we are still active in our community. Over the years we have sponsored several little league and girls softball teams for St. Joe Township. We sponsor our local Christian radio stations as well as several local churches. Crossroads has also been an active supporter of Charis House, a local shelter for battered and abused women with children. With our profits from the sale of our Beanie Babies, we were able to give Charis House the money needed for the purchase of children's playground equipment, as well as fulfill several of their wish lists.

We continue to give back to our community because they have given us so much, and we enjoy the opportunity to serve others.

● Afghans have become a very popular item for sympathy orders. We have a large selection of spiritual afghans available, more than we can list online. Call or stop by for additional styles.
● Fresh Bouquets: Traditional, Contemporary/High Style, Sympathy, Wedding, etc.
● Green and Blooming Plants: We have a large assortment of green and blooming plants. Ivy, Peace Lily, Mums, Violets, Orchids, etc.
● A large assortment of Fresh Cut Flowers including a monthly shipment from our Hawaiian grower.
● Roses: We can provide almost any color with a few days notice.
● We are IFA members and can wire flowers almost any where in the country.
● We no longer carry Ty Beanie Babies, we do carry a selection of Mary Meyer plush.

Our store is open Monday through Friday, 9am to 5:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. We are closed on Sundays.

We deliver to Fort Wayne, Indiana, plus the following cities in Indiana: Churubusco, Grabill, Harlan, Hoagland, Huntertown and Leo. We also deliver daily to Monroeville, New Haven, Spencerville and Woodburn.
